Shriya Pilgaonkar, the multi-talented actress, has gained much popularity and appreciation after she played the character of Sweety Gupta in the popular Indian web series, Mirzapur starring acclaimed actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal. The actress will be next seen in upcoming series titled Guilty Minds.
The 29 year-old is the daughter of veteran actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar. She is a trained swimmer and Kathak dancer. Apart from winning hearts with her acting skills, Surpiya has directed and produced two shorts films and a documentary.
The actress also recently played the role of Madhu in Bhuvan Bam starrer Taaza Khabar.
Surpiya Pilgaonkar also got the opportunity to with Shah Rukh Khan in the movie Fan where she played the role of Neha. She has done theater as well and starred in English plays like Common People and Bombay Dying.
