Pushpika De Silva is a Sri Lankan model who has been in the news lately after she won Mrs. Sri Lanka 2021 beauty pageant. The model and a mother of one currently has over 60K followers on her official new Instagram as her previous account was hacked.
The beautiful model also wore the crown of being Miss Sri Lanka in 2011 and after 10 years she became Mrs. Sri Lanka World.

Pushpika De Silva was crowned Mrs. Sri Lanka 2021 by Carolie Jurie (Mrs. Sri Lanka 2020), however moments later, Jurie rushed to the stage and snatched the crown from Pushpika announcing that the crown/title of Mrs. Sri Lanka is for married women and not divorced. She then procedded to put the crown on the first runner up. Pushpika was also injured during the incident, and as of her facebook post she is recovering from the injury. The organizers of the beauty pageant has returned thee crown and prize to De Silva as well.

As per wikipedia, De Silva's husband, Thilanka Dabarera, claimed on facebook that her and Pushpika are not together for past four years and their divorce case is fixed in court for June/July 2021, which would disqualify her for Mrs. World competition in Dec. 2021.
